CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – UPDATE: Xavier Clayton has been located and booked into Montgomery County Jail.
Clarksville police are looking for a burglary suspect and have asked the public for assistance.
Detective Keenan Carlton from the Clarksville Police Department is searching for 24-year-old Xavier Clayton from Clarksville.
Clarksville police officers responded to an apartment on Big Sky Drive in reference to a domestic call on May 13 around 11:15 p.m. The suspect, Xavier Clayton, allegedly kicked in the victim’s door and began assaulting her, then fled the scene before officers arrived.
Clayton currently has warrants on file for aggravated burglary and vandalism.
He is described as a black male, approximately 6’0 tall and weighing 190 pounds.
