CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police Officers will be at Strawberry Alley Ale Works Thursday, January 30, serving diners and raising money for Special Olympics.
From 5-8 p.m, CPD officers will be be serving tables, raising both money and awareness for Special Olympics Tennessee. Those who cannot stop for dinner are invited to drop in and leave a donation for the program.
Last year, the Clarksville community raised $1,990, the largest amount ever raised in Tennessee during a Tip A Cop lunch.

In February, CPD officers will again be raising money for Special Olympics Tennessee with the annual APSU Polar Plunge. Members of the community, officers included, collect pledges before taking a dive into Austin Peay’s frigid Foy Pool. Last year’s Polar Plunge raised over $10,000.
