CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A shooting investigation initially prompted the lockdown of Kenwood School Complex. (Update: Lockdown has been lifted.)
Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the 900 block of Peachers Mill Rd.
Three people have been shot. No arrests have been made at this time.
Peachers Mill Rd is shut down between Pine Mountain Rd and Carter Rd.
The area of Peachers Mill Rd between Pine Mountain Rd and Carter Rd is an active crime scene. Officials are investigating the area and citizens are asked to avoid the area.
Officials with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System said the lockdown at the Kenwood school complex, affecting Kenwood Elementary, Middle and High Schools was a precautionary measure.
