CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Chief Al Ansley and the Clarksville Police Department’s command staff members recently attended the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police (TACP) conference in Knoxville.

TACP was formed over 47 years ago with the goal of improving professionalism and communication among police chiefs and other officials locally and statewide.

The conference was held July 25-28 and gave the opportunity for the officers to interact with law enforcement officials from other agencies and exchange ideas, discuss current events, and address issues that affect enforcement on a daily basis.

Keynote speakers from across the country presented relevant information on management, integrity, and leadership. The conference also provided an invaluable forum for the Chief and Command Staff to see some of the latest technology available to law enforcement.
