NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Department of Health reports 7,070 positive cases of COVID-19 as of April 19. There have been 97,098 negative test results in the state.

This was the first weekend that health officials and the National Guard began drive thru testing across the state.

In Montgomery County, 119 cases of the virus, up from 102 people on Thursday. As of Sunday, 50 people have recovered from the virus and there have been 1,563 negative tests conducted.

There have been 148 fatalities related to COVID-19 in Tennessee. Only 13% of the total cases of COVID-19 have resulted in hospitalization.

Shelter at Home orders will continue to be in place through the end of the month.
