Contributed commentary by District 15 Montgomery County Commissioner David Harper endorsing Erinne Hester for Assessor of Property.
In today’s world, as a parent along with my wife of 23 years, Michele Harper, of our daughter, Graysie Harper, one of our focuses as a family has always been to search out role models for our daughter. We have been blessed to know the entire Hester family and specifically to develop a working knowledge and relationship with Erinne Hester, as we have worked together serving Montgomery County since 2014 when I was first elected.
Erinne exhibits a multitude of character traits that are admirable in our minds. We are blessed in our community to have many women who serve our community and serve as strong examples for our daughters in our community to model after. Erinne exhibits strong leadership skills and an ability and desire to continue to grow in knowledge. On numerous occasions, she has exhibited a commitment towards fairness and equality in her department’s dealings. She has continued to elevate the abilities and capacities of all that serve in the Assessor’s Office for Montgomery County with her.
Graysie often refers to Erinne as her “spirit animal” because of the type of person that she is.
I hope you will support my family as we seek to re-elect Erinne to the Montgomery County Assessor of Property.
