CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A highlight of the Downtown Market this week was a corn shucking competition. Competitors raced against each other to see who could shuck the most corn.

The event is the latest activity for the Downtown Market on Public Square. The market is a weekly outdoor market featuring vendors from locally-grown produce to handcrafted products. The market will run until October and will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Downtown Market is an opportunity for local customers to connect with local businesses.
