CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service in Nashville says cooler temperatures are expected within the next seven to ten days following some more rounds of rain.
Thunderstorms are expected today and Wednesday, with a chance for more thunderstorms Thursday through Monday. However, the flood threat is low and storms are not expected to become severe.
Highs this week will be in the low 80s with an average low of 70.
All this precipitation and a cold front are expected to bring even cooler temperatures Aug. 21-25, according to the National Weather Service.
Fall is not here just yet, but the heat will at least subside for a bit.
