CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A convicted felon with a long criminal history was arrested again in Clarksville and charged with aggravated burglary this week.

Aaron Glass, 23, was wanted for breaking into a home in November 2018. He managed to elude police until Feb. 20 when they spotted a Nissan which Glass was known to drive at a hotel on Holiday Drive.

Officers determined Glass was inside one of the rooms and he was taken into custody without incident.

Officers found a gun stolen from Stewart County inside the room. They also determined Glass had threatened to harm another person inside the room if the individual allowed officers to enter.

Glass was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with aggravated burglary, convicted felon going armed, aggravated kidnapping, and theft of property. His bond was set at $185,000.

Police said Glass has a lengthy criminal history involving evading arrest, traffic violations, violation of probation, weapons charges, and drug charges.
