Convenience store clerk shot during overnight armed robbery in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A convenience store clerk was shot during an armed robbery early Saturday morning in Clarksville.

At about 3:30 a.m., there was a robbery at the Speedway at 2475 Tiny Town Road, and the clerk was shot in the thigh, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The clerk was transported to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville, with what appeared to be non-lifethreatening injuries, Beaubien said.

The suspect fled the scene.
