Constance “Connie” Lee Shaffer, age 75, of Indian Mound, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at her residence.
Connie was born August 13, 1946, in Berlin, PA, to the late Robert Cober and Billie Jean Cober. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Shaffer, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie Jean Shaffer; and one sister, Vicki Scobee.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, September 1, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. John Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m., at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, September 1, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Connie is survived by three sons, James Shaffer III and Kim, Michael Shaffer, and Mark Shaffer; one sister, Linda Cope; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Hottel, Steven Shaffer, Britni Williams, Allison Vincent, Caitlyn Peace, Kelsey Peace, Cydney Shaffer, James Shaffer IV, Michael Hughes, and Bradley Hughes; and 14 great-grandchildren.
