CSM (Ret) Conrad Edward Butler, age 81 of Clarksville passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Conrad was born on March 21, 1940 to the late James Edward Butler and Esther Weiler Butler. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mitsuko Butler; brothers: Jim Butler, Bill Butler and sister Dorothy Butler Foist. He is survived by his sons: Kenzi (Wendi) Butler, Edward (Luz) Butler; daughters: Esther (Sam) Rivera, Miyuki Butler; Brothers: John (Julie) Butler, Mike Butler, Frank (Dee) Butler; sisters: Mary (Walt) Butler Sanna, Marty Butler Heltzer, Mildred (Jerry) Butler Allen: grandchildren: Vanessa, Ashley, Marianne, Kendra, Ray, Josh, Christian, Shaoyun, Erik and Jet.
Conrad was a retired Command Sergeant Major having served over 30 years in the United States Army. He was awarded a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal for his services in Viet Nam. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. John Despain officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
