Connie Gonzalez, age 59, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
Connie was born June 27, 1957, in Clarksville, TN, to Mary Chester Atkins and the late Joe Atkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luis Gonzalez; and two sisters, Nell Morgan and Tina Clawson.
Connie was a loving mother and grandmother.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 18, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by three sons, Eric (Tristina) Gonzalez of Clarksville, Jason Valderez of Texas, and Shawn Valderez of Texas; two daughters, Deanna Gonzalez of Newport News, VA and Veronica Gonzalez of Clarksville; brother, Joe (Buzzy) Atkins, Jr.; three sisters, Debbie Mansell of Clarksville, Peggy Carter of Georgia, and Judy Griffin of Texas; and sixteen grandchildren.
