CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Each year on Oct. 25, groups gather all around the world to raise money for charity and perform the Thriller dance at 10 p.m. GMT (5 p.m. in Clarksville).

For three weeks, Rewind 94.3 has hosted lessons at TC Dance Academy where listeners learned the Thriller dance. Then on Oct. 25, everyone gathers – dressed in their Zombie best – to Thrill the World!

The dances are recorded and submitted to break a world record. Money raised from the event in Clarksville will benefit Soldiers and Families Embraced (SAFE), a nonprofit that helps ease the readjustment and reintegration of military members and their families.

The final dance will be at 5 p.m., Oct. 25 at Austin Peay State University’s Red Barn. We are partnering with the APSU Wesley Foundation, SAFE, Action Gymnastics and TC Dance Academy to host lessons and pull it all off. Come to the lessons, learn the dance, support SAFE and Thrill the World.
