HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Hopkinsville Police Department would like to thank members of the community for coming forward with valuable information, which helped detectives make an arrest connected to the August 13 home invasion that occurred at 1735 East 7th Street.

Acting on information and tips given to police by the community, detectives were able to arrest a male juvenile of Hopkinsville for his alleged involvement in this crime. The juvenile was charged with 1st Degree Robbery and 1st Degree Burglary and was lodged in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Facility in Paducah, KY.

It’s very likely the juvenile involved in this crime would still be on the loose had it not been for witnesses and tipsters coming forward with information for detectives.

With continued help and support from the community, it is the hope of the Hopkinsville Police Department that Hopkinsville will be the safest city possible in which to live and that crimes like this will never go unsolved.
