CLARKSVILLE , Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – As Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools work to reopen for the 2020-21 school year, teachers and students have benefited from the community and its generosity with over $15,000 in school supplies donated this weekend as part of the Stuff the Bus.

This year’s event for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation and the Teacher Warehouse was hosted by 5 Star Media Group and Grace Dental Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.

Donations for Stuff the Bus included things like 1,359 boxes of colored pencils, 2,850 pens, 2,612 glue sticks and hundreds of other school and cleaning supplies donated with the items totaling $14,654 along with more than $600 in cash donations.

“We are grateful for another successful year partnering with Five Star Media Group for the annual Stuff The Bus. I want to personally thank the 50-plus volunteers who gave of their time and resources to support the event last week. Even as we navigate the uncertainties of COVID-19, our community’s generosity has ensured that our Teacher Warehouse is restocked and ready to support the students and teachers of CMCSS.” said CMCEF Executive Director Robin Burton.
