CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It was a great day for riding a bike Saturday, so Clarksville Parks & Recreation took advantage of the weather to hold the city’s first Community Bike Ride, offering Clarksville B-Cycles for everyone to enjoy.

Mayor Joe Pitts, Cindy Pitts, and Austin Peay State University President Michael Licari were joined by officers with the Clarksville Police Department and citizens for the 3-mile ride starting at APSU, along the Greenway, through downtown and back to the university.

Along with other Community Bike Rides in the future, Clarksville Parks & Recreation is planning a bicycle riding safety class for the public.
