CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Commissioner Jason Knight and Sheriff’s Deputy DaJuan Little recently delivered 425 pocket-size copies of the US Constitution to West Creek Middle School for use by 8th-graders.
The donation was made in collaboration with the 917 Society, a Tennessee nonprofit that seeks to bring pocket-sized copies of the Constitution to the classroom “to empower every 8th grader with the knowledge of their individual freedoms and provide them with their very own lasting copy of the U.S. Constitution as a rite of passage into American citizenship.”
