CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville Gas and Water sewer main line rehabilitation contract work is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, May 21 through May 22 on Commerce Street.
Contract workers will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, morning through 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. The work is anticipated to be finished as follows:
• Commerce Street closed between South Second Street and South Third Street
• Eastbound lane of Commerce Street closed between South Third Street and Hiter Street
• Left southbound lane of South Second Street closed between Franklin Street and Commerce Street
South Second Street and South Third Street will be passable; however, motorists may wish to choose an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion in the downtown area.
