CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Live theater is returning to Clarksville with a comedy play of, shall we say, historic proportions, this weekend at the Downtown Commons.
“The Complete History of America (Abridged),” looks at over 500 years of history, highlighting important points in a fast-paced collection of silly Vaudeville sketches, word association games, and parodies of movies and television.
The play is free and open to the public, and there are three shows to choose from. Friday and Saturday, July 23 and 24, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 25, at 2 p.m.
Chairs and blankets are welcome, but pets, coolers, smoking or vaping, and outside alcohol will not be allowed on site.
