CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Several new businesses will soon be popping up around Clarksville.
New building permits have been acquired for the following locations:
A new Taco Bell franchise is planned for 1720 Tiny Town Rd.
Regal Clarksville Stadium 16 will be undergoing renovations in the near future. It is unclear at this time how the renovations might affect the public.
Stars and Bars Brewing Co. has been issued a building permit for 1030 Progress Dr. Stars and Bars is a veteran-owned brewery specializing in small batch, high gravity beers, and root beer.
Bonfire Mongolian Grill will build at 1767 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. The restaurant already has a Mount Juliet location and features hibachi-style food.
King Tut Coffee Shop has a permit for a 212 Providence Blvd. location.
TN Valley Brewing plans to open a brewery at 2088 Lowes Dr. to serve locally-brewed craft beer.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is coming to 2100 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. The fast-food chain specializes in freshly-churned frozen custard and cooked-to-order steakburgers.
Cold Stone Creamery is adding a location at 1849 Madison St. The chain already has a store on Tiny Town Rd.
Golly G’s, a popular sweet shop in Pleasant View, TN, is adding a Clarksville store at 2622 Madison St.
The Regional Planning Commission has also confirmed that Kroger recently went before the Commission for site plan approval for a 123,594 square ft. Kroger Marketplace. The store’s proposed location is at the intersection of Tiny Town and Needmore roads and will include a separate gas station area with 9 pumps. It is unclear when they will receive a building permit.
In addition to groceries, Kroger Marketplace stores offer home decor, bed and bath, kitchen and appliances, home office, and toys departments.
