CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Combat Vets Motorcycle Association (CVMA), Chapter 18-2, is seeking donations to buy wreaths for Wreaths Across America for veteran’s grave sites at both Resthaven Cemetery in Clarksville and Fort Donelson National Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee.
Wreaths Across America is December 16 this year and remembers fallen U.S. Veterans, honors their service and helps teach young people the value of freedom. Hundreds of wreath laying ceremonies are held all across the country on that day.
Andrew “Grimm” Potter with CVMA says their goal is 1,000 wreaths and as of right now they only have one donation. He adds that this is to honor our fallen brothers and sisters who lost their life to protect our country and our freedom.
The cost for wreaths are $15 each and the CVMA will receive $5 which will donated to organizations like Soldiers & Families Embraced (SAFE), Warriors Institute, and Boy Scouts of Fort Campbell. For more information email Potter at Andrew.potter8602@gmail.com or go to the CVMA facebook page.
