“We do this to pay tribute to those who have come before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice,” said Chapter commander and veteran Kevin Armstrong.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is also moving forward with plans for a memorial wall at Patriot’s Park honoring the fallen from Fort Campbell. The association has received permission from the City of Clarksville for the wall, which will be donated by the association to the city.
Armstrong said the wall will have the names of all the fallen since 9/11. The cost of the memorial wall is estimated to be around $150,000 and the CMVA has begun fundraising efforts pay for the construction. To make a donation visit www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=T5M6BYF3ASNKQ
