CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Montgomery County from midnight Saturday through noon Sunday.
Lows are expected in the single-digits, and National Weather Service forecasters say wind chill values could drop as low as 1 degree below zero, creating potentially dangerous conditions for anyone exposed to the cold for extended periods.
The advisory warns that prolonged exposure to low wind chills may lead to hypothermia. Residents are urged to take precautions when outdoors, including wearing warm clothing, hats and gloves.
