CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With a high of only 21 on Sunday and a low of 10 degrees Sunday night, the Cold Weather Advisory for Montgomery County has been extended through noon Monday.

National Weather Service forecasters say wind chill values could drop as low as 1 degree below zero, creating potentially dangerous conditions for anyone exposed to the cold for extended periods.

A gradual warming trend begins Monday and continues through midweek, with highs climbing into the 50s before a strong storm system brings widespread rain and possible thunderstorms late Wednesday night into Thursday.
