CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –  The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is accepting free and reduced lunch applications for students who will be attending traditional school  when school begins on August 31.

Parents who have students enrolled in the- CMCSS K-12 Virtual will also have a lunch option offered through CMCSS.

“Students who are in CMCSS K-12 Virtual are still students at their enrolled school despite not physically learning in the school building,” said Anthony Johnson, Chief Communications Officer at  CMCSS.

“… The district has worked to make it possible for students to still have access to meals. Individual schools and the Child Nutrition Department will provide more details to families of students in CMCSS K-12 Virtual in the coming weeks about how they can access school meals in a grab-and-go fashion.”

As the school year approaches, parents of K-12 Virtual students will be receiving  more information from their student’s school about how lunch will be served.

Free and reduced meals will be available for students choosing either traditional or CMCSS K-12 Virtual.
