CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – At their Tuesday, April 15 meeting, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Board of Education honored a number of students with their Point of Pride Awards. Point of Pride Awards are handed out at school board meetings to school system students, teachers and staff for their outstanding achievements.
The Rossview High School Girls Basketball team was recognized for their first showing at the Tennessee State Tournament and for finishing in the state semifinals.
Daniel Nori, a player from Kenwood High school was recognized as an AAA Mr. basketball finalist.
In high boys school wrestling, students from Clarksville High School, Kenwood High School, Northeast High School and Rossview High School competed in the Tennessee State Wrestling Tournament.
There were also a number of girls who competed in the Tennessee State Wrestling Tournament from Montgomery Central High School, Northeast High School Rossview High School and West Creek High School.
