CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will be on a one-hour delay Thursday, Jan. 4 and Friday, Jan. 5 due to frigid temperatures.
Every morning this week, buses will be running inclement weather routes. This means that students should remain in the protection of their home, standing in the doorway or by a window where they can best see their bus approaching. As soon as they see the bus, they must immediately leave their home and walk quickly to their inclement weather stop. If the bus driver does not see the student, the bus will not stop. Students should dress appropriately for the weather, both outside and inside the school building. Even with all systems working properly, the buildings may struggle to keep the inside air at 70 degrees when it is in the single digits outside.
