Berry earns additional accolades

Also during its Annual Convention, the TSBA recognized three school board members who earned master board member status. To encourage professional growth of school board members, TSBA offers a master school board member award to members who invest their time and effort into becoming more informed and more effective school board members. The award is given for participation in activities outside of local school board obligations.

Level V Master Board Members recognized at the TSBA Annual Convention are:

  • Carol Berry, Clarksville-Montgomery County
  • Larry Brackett, Roane County
  • Nadine Jackson, Roane County

Berry was also among five outstanding school board members named to the All Tennessee School Board.

“She strikes the delicate balance of being actively involved to highlight any questions or concerns without overstepping the role of a board member,” said CMCSS Schools Director Jean Luna-Vedder.
