CMCSS investigating multiple members of the administrative team at New Providence Middle School

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The CMCSS Human Resources Department is currently in the process of conducting an internal investigation involving multiple members of the administrative team at New Providence Middle School, according to CMCSS spokesperson Anthony Johnson.

While the accusations are unknown, the administrators involved have been assigned to alternative worksites pending the conclusion of the investigation.

For the time being, district leaders will be serving as building administrators, which includes Dr. Schanda Doughty, who works as the Chief Academic Officer, and Matt Slight, who works as the Interim Director of Middle Schools.

CMCSS ended their official statement to Clarksville Now by saying all employees have afforded due process, and the school system does not have any other comments on the investigation at this time.
