Cloverine Oldham, age 88 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, July 22,2014 at Signature Healthcare.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Walnut Grove Church Cemetery.
She was born December 26, 1925 in Clarksville, TN to the late John and Ora Poindexter. She was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her son Earl Williams, Jr. and her brother Leslie “Shank” Poindexter and sisters Ionia P. Greene, Beatrice Bell, Clara Mallory, Mary Bell and Emma Dee Cheatham.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory granddaughter Tonya K. Long, Chicago,IL; nephews Henry Clay(Rosalynd) Greene, Jesse Lee Greene and Harold Wayne Greene; nieces Naomi Williams, Georgia Mallory, Clara Wooden, Katy Poindexter,Georgie (Mitchell) Brewer and Geneva Ponta and host of family and friends.
