CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict westbound traffic to one lane along a section of Interstate 24 in Christian County starting Monday, November 9.

Westbound motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic along I-24 between the 82 and 84 mile marker. This westbound work zone is to allow concrete pavement repairs.

This work zone is expected to be in place for about 2 weeks, weather permitting. Westbound motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the 82 mile marker. Traffic configuration along this work zone may change from time to time to facilitate the required work.

Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
