Clifton “Tip” Eugene Perry, age 85 of Cunningham, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, December 14, 2020, at St Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
He was born April 30, 1935, in Clarksville, TN, to the late John and Savannah Hogue Perry. Tip is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Bryant Perry; one son, Todd (Lauren) Perry; two grandchildren, Kristen (Alex) Peter and Mathew Perry; one brother, Butch (Faye) Perry. He also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by one sister, Rosa Lee Haskins, and nine brothers, Hartwell, Luther, Howard, Edward, Roger, Herbert, Carl, Tom, and Louie Perry.
He was a graduate of Montgomery Central class of 1955. He worked for Swift Dry Cleaners, and co-owners of Tip Auto Parts and Perry’s Auto Parts. He was also a security Officer for 26 years at Gateway Medical Center and Tennova Hospital.
