Clifford Eugine Preslar was born on April 5, 1940, to Clifford Roy Preslar and Zanie Elizabeth Preslar (Harris) and grew up in Dyersburg, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors.

He spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and gardening, finding peace and joy in nature’s bounty. His green thumb was well-known among family and friends, who often enjoyed the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor.

He worked as a farmer and machine mechanic in several factories around town. Eugine was known for his hard work.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Rose Preslar; children: Rick Preslar of Corinth, MS, Crystal Emmons of Clarksville, TN, and Jeanna Handley of Lakeside, CA; grandchildren: Amber Friel of Bangkok, Thailand, Hope Wray of Clarksville, TN, Joseph Williamson of Clarksville, TN, Lizzi Williamson of Clarksville, TN, and Carly Preslar of Jackson, MS; and great grandchildren, Darcy Rose Cannon, Louie Friel, and Jack Friel.

A Memorial service will be announced for later in July.

Arrangements are in the care of Tennessee Cremation Care.
