Claudia Parker Davenport, age 86 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at her residence.

Claudia was born July 12, 1934, in Dickson County, TN to the late William R. Parker and Eula McCollum Parker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Winston “Wimpy” Davenport; son, Jeffery P. Davenport; sisters and brothers, Beatrice Shelton, Magelene Davenport, Bill “Junior” Parker, and Ronnie Parker.

Claudia was a lifetime member of the “Community of Hope” First Church of the Nazarene.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Karen D. (Earl) Snyder; son, Buddy (LaRae) Davenport; grandchildren: James Snyder, Josh (Kristin) Snyder, Tara (Daniel) Hightower, Guy (Madelyn) Davenport and Parker (Larissa) Davenport; 8 great-grandchildren: Lari, Luke, Presley, Grayson, Jaxon, Bella, Ty, Collins, and 1 great-great-grandchild Drake, a brother, Gerald (Darrell) Parker and her four-legged sidekick, Lexie Bell.

Pallbearers will be Josh Snyder, Guy Davenport, Parker Davenport, Daniel Hightower, Luke Stehle, and Butch Schmittou.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Duranceau officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 8, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in her name to “Community of Hope” First Church of The Nazarene, 150 Richview Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
