Claudia Erika Bohm Pittman, age 58, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at St. Thomas West Hospital, in Nashville.
Claudia was born in Erlangen, Germany, to the late Georg Bohm and Barbara Hillard Bohm. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rienhold Bohm; and grandson, Caleb Perez.
Claudia was always smiling and a faithful encouragement to her family and friends. She enjoyed slot machines, which earned her the nickname “Strong Right Arm.” Her grandchildren, who called her “Omi,” were her pride and joy.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 1, at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Vicki Patton officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 29, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Tuesday, March 1, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Claudia is survived by her four daughters, Melanie (Keith) Van Ert of Clarksville, Nicole Scott of Clarksville, Camie Eppler-Ramderass of San Antonio, TX, and Pamela (Damien Schlosser) Pittman of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Katilyn Carter, Carlie Carter, Madison Ramderass, Jasmine Young, and Madeline Reyes; and her best friend of 40 years, Hank Pittman.
