Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade
Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by participating in this year’s annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government. This night-time, lighted Christmas parade is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 in downtown Clarksville.

SpiritFest
The Fourth Annual SpiritFest holiday event will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 from 2-5 p.m. in downtown Clarksville.

The celebration will offer a bounty of free activities, including visits with Santa Claus, rides on the Express Bus, kids’ inflatables, live music on the new Downtown Commons stage, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity with animals. SpiritFest starts three hours before Clarksville’s 59th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade, which will pass by its location in Historic Downtown Clarksville.

5 Star Media Group Toy Drive
ClarksvilleNow.com and 5 Star Media Group’s Annual Toy Drive will be held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. This year’s Toy Drive will be held at Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. The community is asked to donate new, unwrapped toys or make a monetary donation to provide gifts for less fortunate children this holiday season. In years past, the Toy Drive has collected thousands of gifts and raised tens of thousands of dollars for the community.

Local on-air radio personalities will be collecting donations on site throughout the weekend. Donation hours are Friday, Nov. 30 from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Drive-Thru Nativity
Clarksville Grace Church of the Nazarene is once again hosting its annual Drive-Thru Nativity from Friday, November 30 through Sunday, December 2. The event is free and open to the public.

Times each day are 6-9 p.m. at the church, located at 3135 Trenton Rd. On Friday and Saturday night wagons will take you through the live nativity as a storyteller recounts the Christmas Story and passengers enjoy different scenes from the nativity. On Sunday, the Drive-Thru Nativity will be opened up for vehicles and each car or truck will be provided with devices to hear the story of Jesus as they drive through.

Trees of Christmas at Smith Trahern
More than 20 trees decorate the rooms of the beautiful historic Smith Trahern Mansion during Trees of Christmas. Opening with a reception Sunday, December 2 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m., the Trees are open for display Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for a $2 donation. Each tree is designed and decorated by a local club or organization.
