Fright on Franklin
Clarksville Parks & Recreation presents the 10th annual Fright on Franklin from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 in downtown Clarksville.

Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and more in historic downtown Clarksville. Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon and evening of fun Halloween-themed activities.

Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-Treating (G.H.O.S.T.) at APSU
Austin Peay State University will once again host Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-Treating (G.H.O.S.T.) on Sunday, Oct. 28.

The APSU student government association (SGA) is inviting children in Clarksville and surrounding areas to join the Halloween fun at Fortera Stadium. Groups on campus and in the community will be dressed up and handing out candy from 4-7 p.m. The event is free.

Halloween at Fort Defiance
Visitors are invited to gather around the bonfire to listen to haunting historical tales of woe and terror. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served. Recommended for ages 8+.

The event is free and open to the public. Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at 120 Duncan St, Clarksville, TN

Halloween Costume Contest at Jazz on the Lawn
The final Jazz on the Lawn concert of the season will be held Saturday, Oct. 27 at Beachaven Winery. Local artist Joel Brown will perform and guests are encouraged to dress up for the Halloween costume contest.

Live music begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 9:30 p.m. and the event is free. Because seating is “general admission,” it’s beneficial to arrive about an hour early to get both a good parking spot and a good view of the band.
