CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – ClarksvilleNow.com and 5 Star Media Group’s Annual Toy Drive is scheduled for Dec. 2 and 3.
Visit Toys R Us and buy a new toy or make a monetary donation Friday, Dec, 2. from 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. or Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
All toys will go to various charities in the community. In 2015, we distributed more than 2,200 to local organizations.
Your donations will help Christmas dreams come true for children from these local charities: Centerstone, The Sanctuary, Operation Homefront, Flourishing Families, Crisis 211, Toys for Tots, and more.
BENEFICIARIES:
Centerstone: Offers behavioral health services for individuals, families and organizations in Middle Tennessee.
The Sanctuary: A non-profit agency committed to the provision of preventative and restorative services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Operation Homefront: Operation Homefront provides relief, resiliency, and reoccurring support to military families in need. This is a national non-profit organization with a local chapter in Clarksville.
Flourishing Families: Assists homeless and low income individuals and families in the Clarksville, TN area.
Toys for Tots: Collects new toys to deliver to local families in need, operated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
Crisis 211: A 24-hour blended crisis center that provides crisis intervention as well as community resources and financial assistance to families in need in the Clarksville, TN area.
