CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville woman has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly hitting her fiancé with a car.

According to an arrest warrant, Nicole Berg, 30, and the 24-year-old victim got into an argument Sunday around 10:30 p.m. at a gas station on Ashland City Rd.

The victim said Berg was angry because he was unable to buy cigarettes, and she allegedly drove her car toward the victim and hit him as he approached.

Berg’s front windshield was damaged. No information about the victim’s injuries was provided.

Berg was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Records show Berg was previously arrested for aggravated assault in July 2013.
