CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – The Clarksville Wildcats won a close one against the Rossview Hawks 58-56.
The game stayed close the whole game and the lead changed hands many times. CHS held off a last second push and took home the district win.
Teal Young lead all scorers with 23 points. Nathan Keener had 13, Devyn Bender scored 8, Evan Cooper and Mike Fair had 6 points and Kurt Thomack had 2.
Rossview’s Logan Miller and Max Leineweber had 16 points. Will Midlick scored 12, Austin Jackson scored 7, Carter Campbell scored 3 and Isaiah Phillips scored 2.
Rossview plays another district game at Northwest Friday.
Clarksville High plays Northeast at home on Friday.
