CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville residents should brace for potentially severe storms tonight as a cold front moves through middle Tennessee and areas of southern Kentucky.

Middle Tennessee under Wind Advisory

Meteorologist John Cohen with the National Weather Service said the main threat will be straight line winds, though large hail and isolated tornadoes are also possible.

Winds will increase to between 15 and 25 mph, ahead of the cold front, with occasional gusts to between 35 and 45 mph.

Turning colder late, with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
