CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville area will be hit by a few rounds of heavy rainfall over the weekend.

Showers and a possible thunderstorm Saturday could produce heavy rainfall between a quarter and half an inch. The high will hover around 56 degrees. Showers will continue throughout the night.

More showers are expected Sunday with a chance of freezing rain around midnight as the temperature drops to 30 degrees.

A Flood Watch will remain in effect through the area through Sunday afternoon.
