CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Temperatures will approach 90 over the next seven days with heat index values near 100. There’s also a chance of thunderstorms through Sunday, some possibly turning severe by mid-week.
Warnings are issued when the hit index hits 105, but even at 100 it is advised that you limit outdoor activity, drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks when outdoors.
Children and pets should not be left in hot cars unattended.
