CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) — The Board of Directors of United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region announced Wednesday that CEO Ginna Holleman will be leaving her post to accept a position at Fortera Credit Union as Vice President of Marketing.

Holleman initially came on board with United Way in 2011 as Campaign and Marketing Director and was named Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director in the 2012.

“Ginna stepped into this role with her heart all in for this community,” said Jim Manning, Board President. “She established a successful strategy that unified partners at all levels to successfully improve the health and human welfare of those in this community who need it the most. She will be greatly missed. The board’s top priority now is to fill her position with someone who has the same community values, leadership skills and commitment to transparency.”

Holleman expressed much gratitude for her service in this role.

“We had challenging goals to achieve when I began and new ones that have evolved along the track. Thanks to the phenomenal support of this community, I am proud of each mission we have accomplished. I feel confident that United Way is well poised for the future and will continue to be propelled by a strong momentum. With that confidence, I am excited to pursue a new journey with a fantastic organization that shares the same commitment to improving lives and work in a field that I also find inspiring. I am immeasurably grateful for the team I have worked with and for the support of many superheroes in our community who have made my service with United Way such a rewarding experience. I look forward to returning that support in this new role and forever championing its mission,” Holleman said.

“Central to Fortera’s core values is a strong commitment to giving back to our community. Ginna’s professional skillset, community engagement and service-minded leadership make her a perfect fit for our culture. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to our executive management team,” said Tom Kane, President and CEO of Fortera Credit Union.

Holleman will remain at United Way through March 1st to help ensure a smooth transition. United Way’s local Board of Directors will immediately begin a search process to fill her position. Application information will be posted at http://liveunitedclarksville.org/about-us/staff.
