ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. – An 18-year-old woman was killed in a single vehicle crash on I-24 in Robertson County Friday.

WKRN News 2 reports that the crash was reported at 2:13 p.m. at mile marker 23.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Melissa Jusino of Clarksville, was traveling eastbound on I-24 in a 2007 Honda Civic when she ran off the left side of the roadway. She then struck a bridge abutment, spun around and came to a final rest facing westbound.

Officials said Jusino was wearing her seat belt and drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash.

I-24 East was down to one lane as authorities cleared the crash site. The roadway reopened at 4:30 p.m.

A memorial service for Melissa Jusino will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
