Clarksville, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Sunset Rotary Club in partnership with Music City Trykes, a local chapter of adaptive bike maker AMBUCS, built, fitted, and donated six adaptive bikes to local children, previously identified by Music City Trykes as having a need but not able to purchase the bikes.
The six bikes we purchased by the club via Music City Trykes, with no out of pocket cost for any of the parents. According to Gary Newman, Club President we covered all of the children that were on the list for Clarksville-Montgomery County we and plan to keep this going. I thank the organizations who helped; you will see them listed in the presentation on our Facebook page.
This was Sunset Rotary’s Signature Event for 2018 and will be a project for Sunset Rotary in the future as long as there is a local child in need of a bike! If you feel you want to help, donations are always welcomed or send us a note at info@sunsetrotarytn.org
