APSU SPORTS CAMPS
Austin Peay State University coaches will host camps for kids of all ages. All camps take place on campus and are led by Governors coaches and student-athletes with an occasional guest appearance by some Governors’ greats. Complete information is available online at LetsGoPeay.com/Camps.

ALTRA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION CASH CAMPS
Altra Federal Credit Union will host free Cash Camps for children ages 8-10. Each Cash Camp is a two-day session on Tuesday, June 9th and Wednesday, June 10th. The first session will run both days from 8:00am – 12:00pm and the second session will run from 1:00pm-5:00pm at their branch located at 1600 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043. Altra membership is not required to attend, but registration is necessary to save your seat. Both days must be attended for completion, and each session is limited to 10 students. DUNBAR CAVE JUNIOR RANGER DAY CAMP
This camp is designed for children ages 8 and 9 years old. Programs will help children build a better relationship with the great outdoors and have fun, while learning. Camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday – Friday, June 17 – 19th. Participants must attend all three days to earn a Tennessee State Parks Jr. Ranger certificate and badge. MORE INFO
SUMMER CAMP AT BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH AND PRESCHOOL
“The Wonderful World of Music” – June 22-26. Children will get the chance to experience different musical instrument families, learn many fun songs, and discover the many ways music makes them feel.
“Birds of a Feather” – July 6-10. An in depth study of the various kinds of birds found in Tennessee and beyond!
“Mad Science” – July 13-17. An exploration of many scientific principles while doing fun and exciting science experiments.
Camps are open to children ages 3 – 3rd grade.

ROSSVIEW MINI CHEER CAMP
Open to children from kindergarten through the 8th grade, boys and girls. All children will get a t-shirt and will be invited back in the fall to cheer at a home football game at Rossview. They will learn cheers, do crafts, play games, etc. The dates are June 9-12th. Times are from 8:30-2:00. On Friday the 12th, they will perform for parents and friends at 11:00 am followed by a pizza party. Cost is $60 per child, with a $5.00 sibling discount. Registration must be complete by May 25. The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center is proud to host the City’s Civil War Summer Camp for history savvy youth. The Camp will be two, one-week sessions for boys and girls in the 5th and 6th grades this June. The first session will be held Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 5, and the second from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12. Each session will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street. The cost of the camp is $60 per student. Pre-registration is required and available through May 30 at Fort Defiance, the Parks & Recreation Main Office or online. Sessions are limited to 12 participants.

SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM
The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department Summer Youth Program will begin June 1 with the opening of program sites and will end July 10. This year’s theme is “Blast from the Past!” The Summer Youth Program is a six-week day camp-type program that is offered each summer to youths, ages 6-16. Gyms at various locations are staffed with directors and assistants, who will help with playtime activities and provide free, instructional classes such as dance and karate.
