CLARKSVILLE, TN − Nathan Foster, Clarksville resident and student at South Haven Christian School in Springfield, competed in the 47th annual American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) National Competition held at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., on April 8-10.

Approximately 1,800 students along with their sponsors from 34 states participated in the AACS National Competition, having captured top honors in their state contests. The students, representing 188 Christian high schools, competed in 76 categories in the five basic areas of Bible, music, speech, art, and academics.

Nathan competed in the category of woodworking and captured first place in the nation for his project. Nathan is a junior at South Haven. This is the second year in a row Nathan has won in the category of woodworking.
