CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host its fifth-annual Clarksville Sports Festival from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located within Liberty Park at 1188 Cumberland Drive, with a variety of sports, athletic and outdoor activities for the entire family.

Clarksville Sports Festival is a celebration of sports and athletics in Clarksville and the surrounding area and features not only sports demonstrations and interactive areas, but also an exposition area where a wide variety of Clarksville and Montgomery County’s athletic and outdoor clubs, businesses and organizations will come together in one location.
Festival-goers can rotate through over 10 sports demonstrations of their choosing to get hands on experience in learning a new sport like Parkour, Rugby, Historical Combat, Archery, Lacrosse, Boxing and more.
Be sure to visit exhibitors to learn more and to register-to-win prizes. Stop by the Parks & Recreation booth to compete in the Wiffle Ball Challenge from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as part of “PLAY BALL Month”.
